AutoStore is the pioneer of robotic cube storage systems and is constantly evolving as a company. We are changing the way goods and services are stored across the globe, and are pushing borders to increase efficiency, safety and develop new products for our customers.
We are now expanding our production with a new factory in Thailand.
now looking for a dedicated General Manager to join our growing operations organization. We are looking for an individual to oversee all daily operations of the facility from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. As the Plant Manager you will gain knowledge from a highly technological business with a truly international perspective.
As you General Manager will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Line Manager and Senior executive global team in setting up the new facilities.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
- Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
- Implement strategies in alignment with the company’s strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Budget and manage manufacturing cost structures by developing and maintaining operational expenses within budget allowance, and investigate cost-reduction measures
- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
- Commit to plant safety procedures
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets and take action to ensure effective return on assets
- Collaborate with functional departments in the implementation of all continuous improvement activities
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven work experience as a plant manager
- 5 years proven managerial experience
- 10 years manufacturing experience
- Experience in managing operations that require electronic and mechanical assembly
- English language speaking skills – high level required
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
- Bachelor’s degreed or up in Engineering and/or Business Management or related field
- Previous experience working for an international company with management outside of Thailand preferred
